What is Bellingham Muse?
Bellingham Muse is a local free bimonthly (every two months) newspaper uniting the variety of diverse thoughts and practices in Bellingham and Whatcom County. The newspaper’s goal is to provide inspirational and informative articles as well as highlight the many different organizations and people who provide services in Bellingham for the Mind, Body and Spirit. We do not have preference for any particular way, but instead want to make it easy for our readers to find all the opportunities available in our beautiful community.

“The Western Washington University Music Department needed to reach out fast to the community regarding 3 important events: Western Washington University’s Concert Choir’s performance at 2 and 7 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 24, at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, 2117 Walnut St. Leslie Guelker-Cone directs the choir, with the theme of “A Light in the Darkness: Songs of Hope and Comfort” and its Symphony Orchestra playing the first major performance of the 2013-14 season on Tuesday, Nov. 26 at 8 p.m. at the Performing Arts Center Concert Hall. The student string orchestra presented well-known works by Wagner, Sibelius, and Haydn under the baton of Roger Briggs; the concert was free and open to the public.
